regitze overgaard (b. 1946) has been creating fascinating jewelry for georg jensen
since 1987 and is acknowledged and respected for her unique ability
to combine the classic art of gold smithery with modern jewelry design
regitze's designs have never been timid but they are not ostentatious either
she is one of those modern designers who help to maintain and renew the
georg jensen tradition - her unconventional combinations of materials reflect an
original, creative spirit and a solid sense of both simplicity and refinement
overgaard was trained as a goldsmith between 1966 and 1970 and the years from
1973-76 she spent at the danish institute for precious metals in copenhagen after
which she established her own studio
in 1977 she entered a collaboration with the royal copenhagen porcelain
manufacturers for whom she designed a collection of porcelain jewelry
an overgaard design is probably the strongest expression of contemporary
elegance to be found today

Shipping
Please note that we charge the same shipping rate all over the world.
Combined shipping for Georg Jensen jewelry means that you pay one basic shipping rate for the first auction (normally US $20.00) - and normally US $5.00 for each additional auction). You will find the actual rate listed with the actual auction
